PSA (Public Service Announcement)

I have had Harley Davison insurance on my 2012 Ultra for about 4 years. Full coverage, They were the least expensive insurance and it was $60 a month when it started. Harley Davidson insurance is underwritten by “Sentry Insurance”. In the 4 years my rates went from $60 to over $100 per month. No accidents, no nothing, just a rate increase.

I started looking around and found “Dairyland” insurance. I got an online quote and got better coverage for $65 per month. Hmmmm.

Funny thing, Dairyland is also underwritten by “Sentry insurance”. Same insurance underwriter as HD, same insurance, better coverage, less dollars, different insurance company name.

I guess the old adage is, if Harleys name is on it, it’s double the price.
