A lot of mental health issues could be resolved in postpartum, when a mother is properly supported, allowed to rest, heal and bond with their baby, without having to deal with the day to day duties, and stresses, the first few weeks after giving birth. Mother's need to be held and pampered during this time. As a Doula, I am here to give her all the care, help take care of baby, and do them mundane things, so she can get the rest and heal. As a student Midwife, again this is where my passion lies. I am looking forward to being able to offer holistic prenatal care, homebirths, postpartum care, newborn care and women's wellness.
