Hey TMP Supporters!
The Water Ride is this Saturday, August 23rd. We have a 12:00pm start at Confluence Brewing in Des Moines. Saturday is forecasted to be 81 degrees and sunny, we couldn't ask for a better biking day! We are planning to ride from Confluence to 515 Brewing in Clive and back downtown to Fuzzy's Tacos. We are keeping an eye on water levels around Des Moines as some of the bike trails can easily be flooded. Don't worry, if that happens we will have a backup route, just in case.
Plan to arrive at Confluence between 11:00-12:00. They will be donating $1/pint sold from 11:00-1:00, so invite your non-biking friends to join us for a pre-ride cheers. All registered riders will receive a ticket for one free beer at 515 Brewing to be used on the day of the ride.
PARKING: Please park to the east or west of Confluence if possible to leave their front parking lot open for guests who might be coming and going throughout the day. There is also a parking lot at Gray's Lake that is just North of Confluence and right on the bike trail.
Helmets are strongly encouraged.
