Based in San Diego, I will work tirelessly to make sure you have your fill of blood. Established in 2017 in San Diego, Strandwolf Promotions is a concert promoter who specializes in speed metal, death metal, thrash metal, black metal, grindcore, hardcore punk, crust punk, doom metal, psychedelic rock, and goth rock. Strandwolf emerged out of a love and passion for music. The goal is to scavenge through the endless cacophony, finding the best scraps to showcase to the masses.

So I have a pretty major announcement.
These next two shows will be my final shows in San Diego. I'll be moving to Des Moines, Iowa in November.
It was a very hard decision to make. But to put it plainly, California is just so expensive (cue "the rent is too DAMN HIGH"). Contributing to the metal and punk scene with these shows is something important to me, mentally and emotionally. Covid time has been devastating on me and I'm not sure how well I'd do if I had to cut myself off from them and go into a constant state of "survival mode".
Hopefully I'll be able to put on shows out in Des Moines and Iowa City-- maybe even get a feel for neighboring states-- by next summer, as well more seriously turn my attention to learning how to put together a record label or a music festival.
It's really bittersweet. As great as it is to get into new territory, I am going to miss the San Diego scene so damn much. I just want to extend a huge thank you to all the great bands and venues I've worked with since I started promoting back in 2017. Thank you for teaching me, thank you for inspiring me, and thank you for being just all around awesome.
But before I go, there's still two shows still left!

Hoping to see you all there! Let's drink, smoke, and rock the f**k out! With the Zig Zags show being my last San Diego gig, I'll be spinning records between sets and afterwards 'til close.
