We're proud to partner with the Iowa Department of Insurance and Financial Services on this annual fraud prevention effort. It's inspiring to see that this work is having a real impact and helping protect consumers.
The 2026 "Stop the Scammers Tour" just wrapped up, bringing critical fraud-fighting tools to over 1,400 Iowans across 20 communities. From crypto schemes to imposter scams, Iowans learned exactly what to watch out for.
Thanks to real-time reports from alert attendees, 19 active scams were identified during the tour and are now under official investigation by our Fraud Bureau! ⚖️
A huge thank you to our partners at the Iowa Attorney General's Office and AARP Iowa for standing with us to protect Iowa consumers.
Education and quick reporting are our best weapons against fraud. Thank you to everyone who attended!
