Mount Rainier Pool is an indoor facility governed by the Des Moines Pool Metropolitan District. Some of the many programs we offer include Swim Lessons, Lap Swims, Water Exercise classes, as well as Public and Family Swims. Re-opening Late: Friday, June 12
Mount Rainier Pool will re-open today, Friday, June 12, at 4:00 p.m.
The pool was temporarily closed due to mechanical issues that caused lower visibility in the water. We are taking a little extra time today to remove remaining silt and improve water clarity for the long term.
The water will be clear and ready for your visit when we reopen. We will continue to monitor water quality and will provide updates if needed.
