MDCo was born after I was blessed with the opportunity to design out of my home. A dream I had in college, but was unsure of how it would come to life. Today, I work on mostly stationery and other print designs while my co-workers sleep at my feet. "Now all glory to God, who is able to do immeasurably more than we might ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us." —Ephesians 3:20

It’s been nearly one week with our little love, and we are all smitten with her! 💕

Meet Mackenzie Rose Mabe, born at exactly midnight November 12. We love all 8 lbs. 13 oz. and 21.5 in. of her and I’m enjoying the ability to just snuggle one babe this time around😉

Fertility treatments are no joke, they require a lot of planning, medication and are overall just plain stressful on your body and marriage. But there’s nothing more I’d rather do than bring a bunch of babies into this world and have them call me mama.
Ryan and I were thrilled to hear that our first frozen embryo transplant was a success. We are so excited to see Matthew and Micah take on their new role of big brothers to their little sister in November! Although, Matthew looks to be a little overwhelmed at the thought 😉
God is always good and we are so thankful!

Today was the original wedding date for one of my clients. A few months ago they changed their date for later this year, but I’m thinking of them today as I’m sure May 16 will always have a special place in their heart.
We’ve all grieved something these last couple months. Whether it be the wedding date you had to reschedule, a graduation, a vacation....the events are endless. For me, I’m grieving the fact that our friends and family members are missing out on the baby stage of our twins. Only a handful of people have actually gotten to lay eyes on our babes in the first 8 months of their life and it’s really quite sad.
But while I may not know WHAT our future holds, I know WHO holds it. And that’s where I find my comfort and my hope. For now, I’ll continue to take this time to slow down, enjoy my boys and find things to be thankful for in the midst of uncertainty. I hope you do too. 💙

My loves ❤️
It’s been ages since I’ve done a so here goes! I’m Jackie Mabe, here I am with my high school sweetheart Ryan, our twin boys Matthew and Micah and our goldendoodles Yadi and Kobe.
A few other facts:
1. I graduated from Iowa State University in 2012 with a degree in graphic design. Started working full time right away at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines. 4 years ago we moved back home to eastern Iowa and I started my wedding stationery business while I continue to work for the IEC part time.
2. Ryan and I started dating the summer before our senior year of high school. This summer will be 7 years married. Time sure does fly!
3. After difficulty getting pregnant, we were finally blessed with our boys with the help of IVF. At 20 weeks pregnant we discovered that the boys had twin to twin transfusion syndrome and they arrived early at 31 weeks. We spent 9 weeks in the NICU and come home a day before their original due date in late November. While the past year has been challenging I pray that I’ll never forget the faithfulness of God. He revealed himself to us in amazing ways in 2019 and we are so thankful for our miracle babes.
4. Yadi and Kobe were our first babies and they’re actually sisters! They have the same mom and dad but were born in separate litters.
As you can see, there’s so much love in this home! Happy Valentines Day to you and your loves! 💕

Justin and Kayla have already celebrated their 2 month wedding anniversary, but I suppose sharing their invitations late is better than never, right?!?
I was so excited when Kayla told me she was incorporating dusty blue into her wedding colors. Personally, it’s one of my favorites as well! She chose The Whitney semi-custom invitation and we were able to update the watercolor florals to be blue, green and ivory. Then we added the details to the back of the invitation, rather than printing an entirely separate card and included dusty blue envelopes with guest address printing. They turned out super beautiful!
