Until December 17th, participate in an Ornaments You Keep activation! Each day, local artists will place homemade ornaments in different locations in Downtown Des Moines.

Ornaments will be hidden in trees, and other accessible areas near retailers, restaurants and attractions in Western Gateway, Historic Court District, Central Downtown, and the Historic East Village to encourage patrons to shop locally while participating in the scavenger hunt! Artists will post pictures and clues on the whereabouts of the ornaments each day using and .

Last Downtown Farmers' Market of the Season!

This Saturday, October 28th, from 8 a.m. to noon visit the historic Court District in Downtown Des Moines for the last Farmers' Market of the Season. To celebrate Halloween, we encourage people to wear costumes as they visit vendors who will be giving away treats.
