Everyday Runner
I'm 32 and have been running for over 5 years now and absolutely love it. I've run two marathons and five 1/2 marathons so far. My life goal is to run a marathon in all 50 states!! I'm also passionate about helping others in their own running journey!

Base building is really important! Donโt discount cross training, like biking or swimming, either, especially in these colder months. It will all contribute to your overall base of fitness.

SHOE SIZE: WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW!
While there is some amount of personal fit preference to take into account when choosing running or walking shoes, having the correct size is a must. Ill-fitting shoes can cause blisters, injuries, soreness, and pressure points on your feet.
Your feet respond differently to running vs. walking: the added force from the impact of running causes your foot to flatten out and your toes to splay. Therefore, you may want to choose a different size or style for shoes you intend to run in than shoes you buy primarily for walking.
