2022 has been the year of slat walls. Nice job on the install by Neil It was more complicated than it looks.

Cleanliness is next to godliness. I love organization. Bad news for the employees though. No excuses now. When i say grab some half cranked hinges you better not ask where they are. You can still ask what the hell a half cranked hinge is though. #

Just your friendly neighborhood cabinetmaker building a deck. Nothing to see here. Move along. One of these days we’ll get back to making cabinets...i’m sure of it.

Since all cabinet work has been put on hold we’ve had to find alternative sources of income. Luckily when I was younger I tried to learn as many different things as I could. I spent about 10 yrs doing various remodeling work for Kindercare Learning Centers. Not only did I assemble some relatively large and complicated play centers, I also gained a lot of experience in commercial construction/remodeling. Versatility and problem solving have been key to staying busy for 20yrs. Its not very glamorous work but I’m not here for the ego trip. 💪

After images of the kitchen remodel. Essentially the same cabinet layout with some minor adjustments. Added an island. New countertop. New backsplash. Removed a couple of walls. Refinished the hardwood flooring. Added some lighting. I’m not much of a story teller or photographer but believe me, we made some significant improvements to this space. Besides removing a couple of walls and opening the space up, the best feature is probably the appliance lift we added for the customers kitchen aid mixer. A simple thing but very practical.
