A lot of times when a horse starts acting “stubborn,” there’s actually something bothering them.

If your horse has been:
• tossing their head under saddle
• feeling stiff one direction
• getting girthy or pinning their ears during grooming
• just not performing like they normally do

They might just be sore or holding tension. If your horse hasn’t had bodywork in a while, it might be worth considering.
