"Snowcapped" by Payson Wick was showcased from Feb. 24 - Mar. 5 on 29th St. between Walnut St. and Larimer St.

Payson shares, "While I was, unfortunately, unable to see my film against the wall in person, the feeling I got through the pictures and videos I saw helped me see myself as an artist in Denver. Something that I created, on the same wall in the same neighborhood as all the murals and artists that have inspired me to keep moving forward as an artist. What I enjoyed most about the Side Stories experience was the chance to put my time and energy into a project that I care deeply about and display my art in a way that feels authentic to the way I see the world."

Andi Todaro's film "Art of Us Artifice" lit up the wall at 25th St. and Larimer St. during Side Stories 2023 🎥

Andi reflects, "My favorite feedback was that people thought they were real, then realized they weren't, and then saw the repetition. Many said it was really bizarre and fun to experience the uncanny valley in the city since that usually takes place on small screens and not giant buildings. I loved making the film, and I love knowing that people will eventually see it. It's that pocket of pressure that makes me learn new amazing things."
