After the 2016 Presidential Election, InvestHER founders Jennifer Benson and Jordan Henry decided it was time to get involved. Inspired by the work of Electing Women, an organization that raises money for pro-choice women candidates running for Governor, United States Senate, and President, InvestHER was created to build a network of young professionals to raise money for women running for office.

Colorado is just three seats away from gender parity in the state legislature. The 2024 elections are an opportunity to make history by ensuring our amazing candidates have the resources they need to win primaries and be competitive this fall.
We hope you can join Electing Women Denver, in partnership with BlueFlower Fund, Planned Parenthood Votes Colorado Small Donor Committee, and InvestHER, for an in-person, pre-primary fundraising event in support of The Dynamic Dozen — women state legislative candidates who need early support — on Thursday, May 23rd at 5:00 pm at Raices Brewing Company, 2060 West Colfax.
