First a little background, my company evolved as my husband, a pipe welder of 20+ years complained (for many of those years) that he could never find a welding cap that would fit properly, protect his ears when welding different processes (especially overhead), one that would not SHRINK, one that wasn’t cone-shaped, and had no elastic band. Everywhere he went he would always be looking out for th
at, “one cap” that just felt comfortable wearing the entire day in all temperatures. He truthfully has tried every store brand out there, and has also purchased countless caps from local ladies who frequent various job sites. In a nutshell, no matter what he tried, nothing met his satisfaction. I’ve spent the last two years in research & development, and I have finally succeeded in designing a welding cap that is made of 100% pre-shrunk high quality cotton fabric and thread, has a high crown for optimal ear protection, is reversible, comes in sizes small through x-large, is BUILT-to-LAST with its double-stitched design, and most importantly, just FITS RIGHT! My husband, along with hundreds of fellow tradesmen are currently enjoying these caps that I have designed and sewn. When traveling to different job sites, it never fails for co-workers to inquire about where my husband buys his welding caps, and since I’ve been making them, they have proved to be a job site favorite every time. My hats are also requested by many other tradesmen (plumbers, pipefitters, carpenters, etc.) who also enjoy utilizing my caps as a liner under their hard hat.
