A network of committed volunteers, foster homes, and local veterinarians are the backbone of our organization. 🐾💕 Meet Nikki! If you're looking for a dog with a big personality and happy demeanor, Nikki is your girl. While most dogs are obsessed with squeaky toys or chasing tennis balls, Nikki has other ideas. Her absolute favorite pastime? Stealing the cat toys! Tiny mice, little balls with bells, feather toys...she is convinced they were all created specifically for her entertainment.
Nikki also loves going for walks because every outing is fun. New sights? Fun! New smells? Even better! New people to meet? Best day ever! She approaches life with joy making even an ordinary walk feel special.
When the excitement is over, Nikki is perfectly content to relax. While her foster parents are at work, she happily lounges on her bed in the laundry room and patiently waits for them to come home. She's house-trained, crate-trained when needed, and has lovely house manners. Her foster mom says she is SO EASY!
Nikki lives with a CAT and gets along beautifully!
