if we change how we write about hip-hop, mainly by not giving a f**k about the money big labels have, maybe we can a) change the music landscape we live in and b) get these hungry cats making good music paid like they should be
if you’ve never had a beard long enough that you needed to comb it, you’ve never had a beard worth mentioning
don’t get paid and make sh*tty music if you can avoid it. i can’t ever hate somebody making their money.
