Splint Caning is very underrepresented in modern design. Can we change that please design world?

This Arabesque inlayed Chair and Table came in with dog chewed edges and broken components. The Owner was rightly concerned considering the extent of the damages. While we couldn't find the exact cuts and perfect matches for every different species of wood for the inlay, we feel the result matched the aesthetic of the original and it is likely that no one would ever notice but us.

Bring it in a box. It'll work out we promise.

This turn of the century Chinese piece was brought to us in poor condition and we are currently working away on the restoration process. Looking good so far.
