🌼 Need a little sunshine in the middle of your day?
Kim is blending up a Happy Heart aromatherapy blend featuring ylang ylang, jasmine, vanilla, and lemongrass. This bright and cheerful combination is one of our favorite ways to add a little joy to the day when you need a reset.
We especially love it as a midday pick me up, offering a refreshing aroma that can help lift your mood and bring a little extra lightness to your afternoon. Even better to add to a massage.
What scent helps brighten your day? 🌿✨
There’s something truly special about connecting with plants before they ever become tea, tinctures, or essential oils. 🌿
At Herbalism Roots, our philosophy of “From Seed to Medicine” starts with understanding the plants themselves. How they grow. What they need. Their personalities through every stage of life.
Many herbalists only meet plants in their final form, but we believe plant wisdom deepens when you’ve had your hands in the soil alongside them.
Our students spend a weekend immersed at instructor Sharona’s “Tiny Farm,” her own urban homestead here in Denver. From potted apartment herbs to community garden plots to creating mini farms at home, students get to see that gardening can happen in any space and for any lifestyle. 🌱
Sharona guides students through permaculture practices, thoughtful planting, soil health, and creating environments where plants can truly flourish. Students leave with dirty hands, fresh transplants from the garden, and practical inspiration to start building their own dream gardens.
And honestly, the experience would not be complete without the homemade bagels from Sharona’s husband, Holly, Meow Kitty making appearances, and the soundtrack of happy chickens clucking throughout the day. 🐓✨
This is herbalism in a grounded, connected, hands-on way. Rooted in community, education, and the relationship between people and plants.
🌿 Ravintsara Essential Oil🌿
Let’s listen to Martin and Kim as they talk about Ravintsara essential oil and why it’s a favorite in many wellness spaces, especially during seasonal shifts. Known for its fresh, clarifying aroma, Ravintsara is often used in aromatherapy to support respiratory comfort and overall wellness routines.
Many people reach for inhalation blends like Ravintsara as part of their preventative self-care practices during cold and flu season, helping create a sense of easier breathing and aromatic support when feeling run down or when trying to stay well.
