Butterfly W**d. When I was a kid, this would appear in summer in isolated pockets in the rolling meadows above the beach. Flashes of bright orange. My Mom would explain how special and rare this was. During Covid, I ordered a shriveled up dryroot and skeptically planted it in a small bare area next to the fountain. Voila! I discovered a few volunteers nestled in with the Blue Mist Spirea. Thanks to my Mom 😍 for making me focus on all pieces and parts of a special meadow landscape 🫶🏽
