Im headed to MSU Denver!

Well i cant hold it in any longer, after 7 years out of school, I was accepted to MSU Denver for not 1 but 2 degree programs!

7 years ago when my Tio Victor died I felt like my world collapsed. It was the first death in my family that really changed the trajectory of my life. I dropped out of school and gave up on myself and just started living the life i thought was expected of me as an adult. I never thought that i was good enough to go back or that I would be too old to be seen as a serious student. I dedicated my life for the next 7 years to social justice and equity for the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC community. With that came a driving force that gave me a new passion for living.

This Fall 2022 I will be pursuing a degree in Gender, Women, and Sexuality studies AS WELL AS finishing my degree in Fine Arts! I never do anything half assed, so heres to TWO DEGREES!
