Very proud of the Kiwanis Club of South Denver!
A RESOLUTION:
Purpose: To clearly show that the Kiwanis Club of South Denver stands against violence directed at children in our communities.
The club advocates this resolution for the following reasons:
WHEREAS:
• The Kiwanis motto is Serving the Children of the World.
• The Kiwanis defining statement includes the phrase, “improving the world one child and one community at a time.
• The Fifth Object of Kiwanis is: “To provide, through Kiwanis clubs a practical means …to build better communities.”
• The Sixth Object of Kiwanis is: “To cooperate in creating and maintaining that sound public opinion and high idealism which make possible the increase of righteousness, justice, patriotism, and goodwill.”
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE KIWANIS CLUB OF SOUTH DENVER STANDS AGAINST VIOLENCE DIRECTED TOWARDS CHILDREN.
