The MJCF: Coalition’s 5th & FINAL Protest
Saturday, June 7, 2025 | 10:30 AM
📍 West Capitol Steps, Denver, Colorado

Join us as we gather one last time in Denver to demand the abolition of the family policing system. This final protest will center our theme:
“Truth and Healing Through Narration.”

We will hold sacred space for community members to read their Love Letters to Stolen Loved Ones—letters written to the children and families taken through adoption, CPS intervention, and systemic separation.

💌 Want to read a letter at the protest?
If you or someone you know would like to participate in the Love Letter Reading Session, visit the MJCF: Coalition website and access the toolkit here:

This isn’t just a protest. It’s a call to truth, a space for healing, and a collective act of resistance. We can’t wait to stand with you.

With love and power,
MJ

Help Us Share – Love Letters to Stolen Children

🖤 Call for Submissions: Love Letters to Stolen Children

Have you or someone you love been impacted by family separation, foster care, or the child welfare system?
This is your invitation to write. To grieve. To remember. To reclaim.

We are collecting Love Letters to Stolen Children—letters written by parents, caregivers, and impacted youth to the babies taken from them by state systems.

Your letter can be raw, poetic, simple, or sacred. It can be a whisper, a rage, a memory, or a declaration. It’s yours.

💌 A few prompts to help guide your letter:

“If you could hear me right now, I would tell you…”

“You were taken from me, but you were never unloved.”

“This is my truth, and I’m no longer afraid to tell it.”

What do you want your child to know about the day they were taken?

What do you want the world to know about your love?

These letters will be part of a Black art exhibit during the Black Mothers March in Washington, D.C., featured in a published collection, and shared on MJCF Coalition’s social media platforms to shift the narrative and center your voice.

📧 Submit your letter (and optional photos) to:
➡️ [email protected]

This is how we protect our stories. This is how we fight.
This is how we love.
