Trump signs executive order that would reclassify ma*****na as a less dangerous drug Reclassification could change how the drug is regulated.

The *****na proposed ordinance updates include:

-Align Denver's social equity criteria with new state criteria.
Remove the prohibition on existing medical ma*****na stores adding a retail license within 1,000 feet of a school.

-Remove the mandatory hearing requirement for ma*****na stores, hospitality businesses, and hospitality and sales businesses to allow the EXL executive director to require a hearing in their discretion, which might reduce costs associated with licensing for some businesses.

=Remove the requirement to send final decisions via certified mail and allow customers to opt in to digital communications to reduce city expenses and modernize licensing communications.

-Allow court-appointed receivers to take licensing actions.

Being heard next week!!! ACTION NEEDED. This is a bad bill that could impact your rights. It prohibits anyone under 26 from buying full potency products on the recreational market. It calls for complete repackaging of all rec products making it even more costly. It also impacts psychedelics.
