My favorite MLK jr quote! Hope everyone is taking some time this holiday for serious introspection at both the progress and lack of progress made in the 50+ years that have passed since the sit-ins and boycotts of the Civil Rights movement. I know I haven’t posted in forever and honestly, I’ve been feeling defeated in the face of such overwhelming adversity facing ALL marginalized/minority groups in this supposed first world country.

I draw my hope and inspiration from my fellow brothers and sisters in this struggle who, despite what seem to be darkening clouds on the horizon, choose to be beacons of faith and inspiration. Draw in your communities close, fam. We need to, all of us who refuse to stand idly by and watch HUMAN BEINGS be ground into dust by corporate/political/“judicial” boots, unite in solidarity.

Remember, it’s only love that can conquer hate. Much love 🫶
