TUES AM UPDATE:
⚠️ ARKANSAS & OKLAHOMA FRIENDS ⚠️

Here are the updated snowfall totals for today!

Good news is that the snow totals seem have gone down just a tad across both NW Arkansas and the River Valley. If you live closer to the Arkansas River, the totals won't be as high. The highest snow totals though will be in the higher terrain.

NWS Tulsa did a great job with the timeline showing when the rain should transition to snow. The heavy snow will arrive later on this afternoon. Check it out below ⬇️

🚨 IMPORTANT 🚨 Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennessee read this:

The SPC has upgraded the severe threat for y'all for Tuesday through the evening hours to a MODERATE risk (Level 4 out 5). Where you see the area highlighted in red on the graphics below is where the strongest and most dangerous storms will be.

We have been watching this strong and dynamic system for almost a week now and the confidence is increasing that this will in fact be a significant severe outbreak with all of the needed ingredients coming together.

Numerous strong and long-tracked tornadoes will be the biggest threat especially in northwest LA, east AR, southwest TN, and all north MS. This means tornadoes in strength of EF-2 or even higher.

Please share this if you have friends or family who live in these areas. Make sure they are aware of the situation and preparing NOW - having multiple ways to receive weather alerts and having a plan on where to go if there is a tornado.
