Throughout her career, Lu has managed PR campaigns for developers, retailers, non-profits, government agencies, restaurants, associations and marketing firms. She often works with clients starting on the ground floor, helping them establish brand recognition in the market and then guiding them through expansions and further growth. She helped build Little Man Ice Cream’s reputation as a must-see attraction in Denver’s Lower Highland neighborhood and put Root Down on the map as one of the city’s first sustainable restaurants. She also introduced developer Southern Land Company to the Colorado market and helped the company effectively navigate and address community concerns. The start-up companies she’s worked with have landed on Inc. 500’s Fastest Growing Companies list and garnered investment and in some cases, buyers, because of the credibility they’ve built in their industries through earned media. Lu gained her marketing and PR experience working in business development for Zenchiku (USA) Inc., a Japanese beef export company. She also served as a promotional coordinator for the Tabor Center during its grand opening year.
