Don’t be a coffee shop shouter!

Imagine if you walked into a coffee shop filled with people having lively, engaging discussions and you jumped up on a table and started shouting loudly about how great you are and why all these people should listen to you.

What response do you think you’d get?

Would anyone listen? Would they care? Nope…

Would you feel frustrated and ignored? Probably…

That’s exactly what I see consultants and fractionals doing here on LinkedIn.

The coffee shop shouter approach leads to feeling like you’re not posting enough and your content isn’t good enough, and that’s why you’re not getting business from your efforts!

Here are the 3 common mistakes I see B2B consultants and fractionals making on LinkedIn:

They forget this is a place to share their wisdom, not sell, sell, sell.

They forget that sharing their wisdom means sharing their best stuff. Don’t hold back, share it all!
