Ever have a project so fun you feel like dancing?? That was me, 9 months pregnant, designing and printing the paper pieces for this vision. Crazy fun collaboration with ALL THE COLORS put together by , and that is featured on today!!! I had an embarrassingly good time picking out colored paper for these pieces 🤓. (I’m alive but not officially back from maternity leave quite yet, just couldn’t resist sharing this! 🤗)

A detail shot from of yesterday's custom mountain invitation design. I letterpress printed Melissa + Zach's names on the front side of the invite just above the torn paper profiles of Gothic Mountain and Mt. Crested Butte. This allowed guests to have a quiet moment with the couple as their very first impression before all the logistical pieces were seen. I also love this shot (< that autocorrected to "sh*t" and I allllllmost left it...) because you can really appreciate the unique texture of the (😍). This invitation suite had a double-sided invite (this is side 1), a double-sided RSVP with blind and grey ink on each side, and a custom map. That means I had SEVEN rounds of printing on the antique letterpress. (Fun fact: generally speaking I don't love belly bands on invites, but this mountain profile version is my jam.) Most designer's outsource their letterpress printing (which, for the record, I think is 100% ok), and to be honest I may need to in 2018 because it's tough to scale when you're balancing print days with email days (and letterpress is far from a quick process), but being a printer myself and understanding how the presses work really helps me design in ways that emphasize the unique aspects of this process I love so much. You can see the full wedding on (!) via the temporary link in my profile. Amazing vendor team:
