THE 5th ANNUAL HITMAKERS EVENT IS MAY 8TH AT THE WIDE OPEN SALOON
We are very excited to announce the 5th Annual Hitmakers music event will be May 8th at The Wide Open Saloon in Sedalia, CO from 6:30-9:00pm. Tickets are $75 per person ($50 is tax deductible) which includes 2 drinks per person. The restaurant will be open prior to event so come down early and enjoy their great food. All proceeds from the event will go to cancer research in Colorado. Every year we get comments from those in attendance what a great and unique event it is. This years event will include Marti Dodson, Paul Sikes and Jon Decious.They will share the background of the songs they have written and will perform some of those songs. They have written songs for Lainey Wilson, Luke Bryan, Clay Walker, Cody Johnson, to name a few they have also had their own successful music careers. GAC is a national organization founded in 1997 by a group of Houston golfers who lost two close friends to cancer. Motivated to raise money for cancer research, they created an annual golf tournament with a live and silent auction, with proceeds going to fund grants for local cancer researchers. In 2009, Scott Pearson established the Denver Chapter after having three family members diagnosed with different cancers. Golfers Against Cancer is unique in that it funds research projects that are in the early stages of development and would not normally qualify for federal funding. Currently, there are multiple GAC chapters and since its inception, GAC has raised over $28 million nationwide to fund cancer research.

Last year's event was a great success and everyone in attendance had a great time. Many of the attendees from last year said it was very unique and entertaining. This year's event will include Brett Jones, Matt Warren and Erik Dillon.They will share the background of the songs they have written and will sing those songs. They have written songs for Jason Aldean, Luke Combs, Riley Green and Gary Allen to name a few.
