Celebrating Disability Pride!
Disability Pride Month is a chance to recognize the experiences, identities, and contributions of disabled people.
It is also a reminder to pay attention to the everyday barriers people face and a charge to continue moving toward a more equitable world where different abilities are understood, respected, and considered from the start.
Give yourself permission to try💭
Fear of getting it wrong can keep us from taking chances, speaking up, or beginning something new. But mistakes are often part of moving forward, learning, and becoming more confident along the way.
And when it comes to volunteering, the good news is that nobody expects you to arrive as a professional weed-puller, snow-shoveler, or grocery-run expert.
