We’re excited to be a part of the A*M Coalition, convened by Teach For America Colorado.

The A*M Coalition is hosting a free online event on July 14th for Colorado high school graduates who’ve been accepted to a postsecondary institution but have not yet enrolled. They will hear from current students and connect with staff members who can support them through the transition. Students will be able to connect with: Adams State University, Colorado State University - Pueblo, Community College of Denver, Front Range Community College, and Metropolitan State University of Denver

HELP SHAPE THE NEXT GENERATION OF BRILLIANCE

SCD Enrichment Program is seeking BIPOC professionals, professors, entrepreneurs, artists, engineers, healthcare professionals, educators, researchers, and community leaders to support our Gifted Summer Camp Intensive at Auraria Campus on July 13–17, 2026.

Many of our students are gifted and advanced learners who have incredible ideas, talents, and potential, but rarely have opportunities to learn directly from professionals who share their backgrounds and experiences. This is your chance to help students connect their passions to future careers while showing them what success can look like in the real world.

We’re currently recruiting volunteers in the following talent areas:

• STEM Innovation
• Leadership
• Language Arts
• World Cultures
• Visual Arts & Creative-Productive Thinking
• Musical Abilities
• Moving Your Body (Performing Arts, Dance, Sports & Psychomotor)

Volunteer Opportunities:

PROFESSIONAL MENTORS
Work with up to three students in your area of expertise, help them develop a project, and share the professional thinking and problem-solving strategies used in your field.

Evaluate student projects and provide meaningful feedback during our final showcase event.

Many gifted students have big ideas but have never been taught how professionals turn ideas into completed projects. Your expertise can help bridge that gap.
