After much thought and deliberation, the directors of Solstice have decided that it is in the best interest of our organization to take the 2017 competitive season off. We are sad to have to make this decision but it is in the best interest of our family at this time. We want to extend our most sincere thanks to every member, staff member, support staff, parent and fan of Solstice. We are definitely planning on returning in the future but we feel this is the best step at this time to keep our organization heading in the right direction.

With this news we would also like to announce that the Solstice Cadets program for youth ages 3 to 12 will continue in 2017! If you have a child between the ages of 3-12 interested in learning color guard this winter please message us to be added to our Solstice Cadets Facebook group.

in 2008, when we chose to name the organization Solstice, it was in large part due to the fact that one definition of Solstice is “a turning point” and this is simply another turning point in our journey. We hope to return in the future as an even stronger organization ready to meet the needs of our participants. Best of luck to everyone auditioning for other groups this year, you all have our support, wishes and prayers.
