Last Thursday we wandered the mist trail of Yosemite, surrounded by waterfalls, towering trees, and fresh mountain air. Every element felt healing — water, earth, air, stillness to be in awe of creation and filled with gratitude.
As blessed as we felt to experience this together, our hearts were also with Jamie back home preparing for another last-minute cancer surgery. We planned this trip to spend time together, embracing life and living in the moment. Holding gratitude and heartbreak at the same time is a strange thing, but this trip reminded us how precious health, friendship, and moments in nature truly are. She wanted us to go despite the change of plans, yet leaving felt wrong. 💔 This trip had a heaviness which just deepened our gratitude and helped us embrace life and push our body. We had no idea what Yosemite would bring, but it brought us right here.🌲✨
