Housing Market Stats for December are in. Things are still moving along for single family homes in the Denver area with attached homes showing a little less movement comparatively. To put it simply townhomes and condos are a little tougher to sell so buyers have a few more options and negotiating power in that category lately.
Overall the trends are continuing to show the market balancing itself to a more even playing field for buyers and sellers. Make sure your agent is well informed and tells it like it is not just what you want to hear. With the right approach your buying or selling can become a very pleasant reality. Informed pricing and marketing are crucial to a quick sale. Buyers will benefit greatly from an agent that can recognize which properties will move and which ones will allow you a little more time or financial wiggle room. The Jimmy Carter Services inspired me to do a little volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity yesterday. I highly recommend it if you have the opportunity.
