Sweet Adora

Delicious pumpkin cookies perfect for fall, Halloween and Thanksgiving!





Recipe:
2 C shortening
2 C sugar
1 16oz can pumpkin
2 eggs
2 t vanilla
1 teas. salt
4 c flour
1 t baking soda
2 t baking powder
2 t cinnamon
1/2 t Allspice
2 C rasions (optional)
1 C nuts (optional)

Cream shortening and sugar. Add pumpkin, eggs, vanilla and beat well. Sift dry ingredients. Combine batter and dry ingredients. Stir in raisons and nuts (optional). Drop dough with cookie scoop, 2" apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake in 350 oven, for 12 to 15 min. Cool on rack. Top with cream cheese frosting.
