BMH-BJ is the largest traditional synagogue in Denver, Colorado. We are the second oldest congregation in the area and just a few years younger than the city of Denver itself. BMH was founded in 1897, BJ was founded in 1922, and the two merged in 1996.

Lag BaOmer begins tonight, a moment in the Omer when we pause to celebrate light, growth, and the power of each day. This week’s reminder invites us to see every day as an opportunity, something to be counted, noticed, and elevated. Even beyond Lag BaOmer, may we carry this mindset with us, finding meaning in the ordinary and intention in the everyday.
🔥 Did someone say free tacos for Taco Tuesday?? Oh yeah, WE DID! Join us for our annual Ignite: Lag BaOmer Festival (Tuesday, May 5th at 6:30 PM) — happening rain or shine! If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll move the celebration indoors, but everything will still take place at BMH-BJ (560 S. Monaco Pkwy).
