Every line in my paintings are cut by hand.
After the paint, I go back in with wood carving tools and etch directly into the surface. Each mark is a decision. That’s what you’re seeing up close here.

Blushing Blooms. The etching on this one goes all the way into the petals. Every line is carved by hand after the paint dries.
