No one said this journey would be easy. Actually, if they did, they LIED and deserve to step on a LEGO. No manual, no rule book, no wise old gym Jedi whispering secrets about protein timing and mental health. Just me, some dumbbells, and a whole lot of trial and error (mostly error).
These two pics are about 2 years apart, but lemme tell ya… real progress didn’t show up until I stopped chasing perfection and started chasing purpose. Weird, right? Muscles AND mindfulness? Who knew?
Now, don’t twist this post into a flex-off. It’s not about showing off the gains (okay, maybe one bicep curl). It’s about being real. Fitness isn’t just about looking like a Greek god. It’s about healing, evolving, and not throwing your alarm clock across the room at 6am. It’s solidarity. It’s community. It’s life… with more sweat.
And as we step into this rainbow-colored, sparkle-powered, pride-packed month 🏳️🌈, this one’s for the fighters. The ones using fitness as therapy, as armor, as celebration.
I see you. You better see you, too. Capes optional, but highly encouraged.
