Hair style & makeup: Cassie Garza
- From the very first wedding Cassie and I worked together (15 years ago 🤯) to now, she's a trusted hair & makeup professional that always has my seal of approval 😘 I wanted to look like myself for this photo session. But, a little more done up than usual. It was also important for me to have a look I can easily replicate. Especially, as a minimal makeup girly anyway 😉 She nailed it!

My creative brain has been begging me to put it to work! So, I've got a few editorial shoots currently in the works. Which got me thinking about my last styled shoot, six years ago...in the height of Covid. 🙊🙈

Our creative team looked to Claude Monet's Water Lilies series as inspiration for their individual contributions & interpretations. None of us were able to work on this in-person due to gathering restrictions. So, most of the planning was done via pinterest, zoom, and email.

All to say, that team of badass vendors still managed to pull off this beauty while carefully timing vendor deliveries, set up & install times, and giving everyone a chance for some bts shots & footage. A true feat in those unknown times from these pros 👇🏼
