Nothing! Absolutely nothing was wrong with me. My intentions were pure. I provided a ton of value to our customers. I am smart. I am capable. I’m holding myself back. My bad attitude was a reflection of my incumbent relationship with myself. My lack of confidence stemmed from feeling insignificant and unappreciated. I was using excuses and poor performance as a way to be heard and seen by others (I figured some attention was better than no attention). I felt like a ghost and I carried that feeling with me everywhere that I went. Never again. I made the decision to never feel that way again. Never again would I be a victim. A victim of my own thoughts. A victim of my choices. A victim of my circumstances. I took extreme ownership of everything in my life. Ownership of my emotions. Ownership of my relationships. Ownership of my outcomes. I am in command of my life. I exude confidence every day. I act with courage when I am fearful. I am the Hero of my own story.
