Seeking a highly-organized individual for a full time architectural design intern (paid position). Our company designs remodels and new construction, primarily for basements, providing permit-ready blueprints as well as 3D renders of the proposed space. We are also involved in the build process once those designs are completed, so this position offers experience in both the design and build fields. Paid on-the-job training in Chief Architect X12 will be provided.

Design duties will include taking measurements, preparing as-built plans, and adding details to proposed plans. Other duties will be required, including (but not limited to) driving between meetings, visiting job sites, scheduling, creating Zoom invitations, sending progress updates, and file organization. A company vehicle will be utilized for driving as much as possible.

Unique hours (40+ potentially available) will require a flexible schedule. This would be a great position for someone fresh out of school looking to enter the design world.

Pay will start as an hourly rate based on current experience; that wage will quickly increase concurrent with ability. Significant growth potential within the company will be available for the right long-term candidate.

Location:
To begin, work will be from our home office in Berthoud, which will soon be moving to the Longmont or Broomfield area. Job site visits will be all over the Denver Metro area. After sufficient training, working from home will be possible.
