Lillie Morgan will be graduating in December with a major in Political Science – Public Policy, a minor in Philosophy, and a certificate in Middle Eastern Studies. Morgan has been a research assistant with the School of Public Affairs and the Political Science Department. She is the City of Westminster's Youth Advisory Panel intern, functioning under the City Council, acting as a liaison between the panel members and the community/city.

Morgan was Vice President of CU Denver's International City Manager's Association chapter from 2023-2024 and also participated in Philosophy Club and Pre-Law Society. She had the privilege of attending the Building Democratic Communities conference at CU Denver in February of 2024 and the national Conference on Policy Process Research in Syracuse, NY in May of 2024.

Morgan says, “I have been privileged with amazing professors in pretty much every class I have taken at CU Denver. Prof. Walsh, Prof. Hassan, Prof. Widzer, and Prof. Breslin have deeply influenced my academics and general world view. Additionally, the Philosophy department faculty, specifically Prof. Lisle, Prof. Shelby, and Prof. Tanzer have not only expanded my perception of reality but have been endlessly patient, kind, and genuine. Taking almost exclusively Political Science and Philosophy courses side-by-side while at CU Denver has given me a broader insight into how to positively progress our future both politically and interpersonally. My favorite times have been sitting in class, listening to lectures by my favorite professors, and having a moment of clarity about how Philosophy and Political Science interrelate.”

Morgan is working as an intern for the City of Westminster until May and is actively applying for fellowships within the Public Policy sector as well as non-profit organizations. She would eventually like to earn a Master's degree, although she is currently undecided.”

Congratulations, Lillie!
