When Enoch joined Hyder, he said he was looking for a company to call home until he retired. Five years later, we are grateful he chose Hyder and grateful for the steady impact he has made across our teams and projects.

Enoch is the kind of person people count on, especially when the pressure is high and the path forward is not simple. His reliability, collaborative approach, and “can do” attitude have made him a trusted leader in the field.

Over the past five years, Enoch has played an important role on several unique and challenging projects, including Spinelli’s, Alcove Townhomes, Evans School, and more. Whether he is helping bring a schedule back on track, managing complex logistics, or earning the confidence of repeat clients, Enoch shows up with consistency and commitment.

Please join us in congratulating our Safety Manager Keshawn Carrington on five years with Hyder.

Over the past five years, Keshawn has helped move Hyder’s safety program forward in a meaningful way. Through steady leadership, stronger communication, improved audits, in-house training, and a clear focus on giving our teams the right tools and PPE, he has helped build a safety culture our people can trust.

That work shows up on our projects and in the results, including Hyder recently earning the President’s Circle Award in our Captive Insurance program.

Keshawn leads with consistency, care, and high standards. We are grateful for the impact he has made on our people, our projects, and the way we approach safety every day.

Team Hyder had a great time participating in the 27th Annual Jane-A-Thon at Mary Jane / Winter Park in support of Invest in Kids. This year, our team raised $16,078 (our best yet) and the event raised a total of $381,000.

We were lucky enough to get a powder day, explored the mountain, and made the most of a fun day for a great cause. A big thank you to all of our fundraising partners and supporters who helped make it happen. We appreciate everyone who continues to support this event year after year.

Dobson Ice Arena Progress for the Vail Community 🏒

A lot of Vail memories have been made at Dobson Ice Arena, and it is exciting to see the next chapter taking shape.

This timelapse shows recent progress as we topped out the south structure, completed the last major expansion area, and enclosed the building. With the arena now dried in, interior work can move ahead at a steady pace.

Happy Women in Construction Week!

At Hyder, we’re proud of the women who help move our projects forward, solve problems, lead teams, and bring steady excellence to the work, in the field and in the office. This week, we’re also celebrating the mentors and role models who’ve helped shape careers along the way.

This month we are recognizing Mitchell McKay for five years of leadership and consistent project delivery at Hyder.

Over that time, Mitch has helped lead and deliver a range of projects, including work for the Town of Vail, Aerie at Copper Mountain, the OZ Architecture Office Remodel, and Silverthorne Fire Station 10. He is currently leading work at St. James Place, where the team continues to make strong progress as project needs evolve.

Mitch’s steady approach, attention to detail, and client focus reflect the standard we aim to bring to every job. We appreciate his commitment to quality, teamwork, and delivering results.
