Homeland Security has done specific definitions of essential government services, and being realistic such as recognizing how important it is to keep electricity coming for emergency services and for citizens to keep warm with the lights on.

As official "summer" draws to a close this week, business typically gets busier. Legislators, clients, and other lobbyists start looking toward the January start of legislative session. It is coming quickly! Many ideas, meetings to hold, and bills to draft (or not!).
