Congratulations are in order to our very own Board Member, Jared Rehberg, who is featured in the ABC 20/20 and ABC News Emmy Award Winning Long Form Feature for: Operation Babylift, The 50 Year Journey.📽️🏆

This award winning feature documents personal stories of children airlifted out of Vietnam in 1975 during a high-stakes mission, along with their adoption journeys and their reunion 50 years later with those who made the operation a success.

Proud to see one of our own featured in this special and impactful episode, and honored to be part of so many adoptees' journeys. Camp never ends!💛

With only 3 weeks until camp, we’re sharing our 3rd board members' impact story.

Meet Eric Bartram, Board Member & Korean Adoptee

"Over my 30 years with HCAF and Korean Heritage Camp, I developed deep and long-lasting relationships with other adoptees that I could have never imagined possible anywhere else. I cherish these life-long friendships that still remain today. That connection is built upon unforgettable memories and an unshakable bond."

Eric first attended Korean Heritage Camp three decades ago as a young adoptee. What he found was something that would shape the rest of his life: other Korean adoptees who understood his experience.

The friendships Eric made at camp weren't just weekend buddies. They became his closest, most enduring relationships. Decades later, those same people are still part of his story.

Now Eric serves on HCAF's Board of Directors, dedicating his time to ensuring that today's Korean adoptees, and adoptees from all nine heritage camps, can experience the same life-changing community he found 30 years ago.

The connections formed at Heritage Camp are different. It's built on shared experience, cultural understanding, and the deep connections that are created in safe spaces where you truly belong.

💜Tag or share with a friend who can benefit from this kind of beautiful community.
