🍣Hana Matsuri Sushi: Fresh fish, beautiful plates, and greatl unch specials!

We made it to .matsuri.glendale in Glendale, and wow—everything tasted as good as it looked. The presentation alone had us reaching for our cameras before our chopsticks.

Our favorites: 🔥 Aburi Tuna (melt-in-your-mouth perfection) 🔥 Aburi Salmon (a close tie for first place, honestly) 🌶️ Yellowtail Jalapeño Sashimi (the heat, the freshness—chef’s kiss)

The lunch special? An absolute steal for the quality you’re getting. Plus, the space is clean, spacious, and has that calm, elevated vibe that makes you want to stay awhile.

🌙 Moonraker Roll – spicy yellowtail, cucumber & cilantro topped with seared spicy snow crab mix, black tobiko, scallions, and a jalapeño-citrus-truffle oil drizzle.

💋 Geisha Roll – spicy yellowtail, avocado & cucumber topped with salmon, mango, tobiko, and finished with habañero-citrus-truffle oil & yuzu ponzu.

New favorite alert: is the spot for your next work date, coffee catch-up, cocktail hour, or snack break. ✨ We sipped on the Le Teton (pomegranate + vodka perfection), devoured the Mexican-style beef dog with bacon + chipotle mayo, and were blown away by the Diablos Rancheros—yes, those deviled eggs are as good as they sound. The atmosphere? Immaculate. We’re already planning our return visit to explore the brunch menu and everything else this Broadway gem has to offer. 🍳🌶️

Some of the best dough we’ve ever had—crispy, chewy perfection. The combo of truffle oil, burrata, prosciutto & arugula? A total showstopper.

Perfectly dressed with that salty crunch—simple, elevated, and SO good.
🍟 And don’t sleep on the waffle fries... hands-down the best we’ve tried.
