Using castanets to the song adaptation of Under The Sea by Rachel Rambach!

Castanets are a great instrument to explore for fine motor skills and musical exploration. There are so many ways to play and explore!

Also- always learning to play the guitar with a little one on my lap 😂 it’s the biggest compliment when a child feels comfortable enough to come sit with me during music! 🫶

Ocean month is off to a great start 🌊🐠

This month we’ve been doing an ocean theme! We’re exploring castanets and making them into clams or crabs, and using them to catch bubbles! A fun twist on popping bubbles 🫧

When the shakers be lookin like a snack …. Iykyk 😂

Babies can’t get enough. And toddlers. Sometimes older children too 🤷‍♀️

Sensory experiences help little ones explore, connect, and regulate. Using a canopy scarf is one of my favorite things to include in class with littles! 🎶
