Orofacial Myology is a form of therapy that deals with the muscles of your face, lips, teeth, jaws and tongue.When your teeth are not aligned properly it is called "malocclusion." This condition is often corrected with a muscle changing program and possibly a combination of orthodontics, orofacial myology and other pertinent therapies.
Our patients continue to be some of the BEST! They come to appointments on time, do their exercises daily (3 times), wear their 'spots and come in with smiling faces! It is still a joy to be there, no matter which office, Denver or Wheat Ridge.
We are healthy, have all the precautions for COVID and feel
VERY fortunate to have such great patients!
Remember that we treat thumb and finger habits, tongue thrust, open mouth breathing, snoring and mild sleep apnea and proper tongue placement for the typical sounds: T D N L S Z SH CH J and ZH. It is amazing how those sounds improve with greater tongue strength and the ability to close onto the back teeth!

I love sharing my passion! So few people know about this field which is a lovely adjunct to dentistry and orthodontics, but also deals with breathing, posture, thumb and finger sucking, snoring and sleep apnea.
