This spring, 10 talented young artists completed Arts Street’s paid internship program, each dedicating 75 hours to hands-on creative work.

Along the way, they brought six unique client projects to life across a variety of mediums, gaining real-world experience while delivering work they could truly be proud of. They also stepped onto a national stage, participating in two art competitions, including the Congressional Art Show, where Maya C. (Age 16) earned Best in Show for Mixed Media, an incredible achievement!

Beyond the artwork, interns grew their time management skills, learned how to balance creativity with client expectations, and gained insight from Lilian Lara (), a local fashion designer and fiber artist.

We’re so proud of this group and all they’ve accomplished. Join us in celebrating these rising artists and the impact of this spring’s internship program!
