Hot take for the Fourth of July: Taxes are patriotic. 🇺🇸
Not because anyone loves paperwork. Because taxes are how we build and maintain the things that make freedom real in people’s daily lives: schools, roads, libraries, parks, clean water, emergency response, health care, child care, and communities that can actually function.
This Independence Day, we’re thinking about what it means to invest in each other—and what Colorado could look like if our tax code worked better for the people who call this state home.
Fireworks are nice. Fully funded public services? Beautiful. 🎆
